The Pennsylvania Medical Society Celebrates Doctors’ Day 2026

The Pennsylvania Medical Society (PAMED) celebrates its state-wide recognition of physicians for 2026 Doctors’ Day on Monday, March 30. PAMED received more than 100 nominations from the public, patients, and colleagues, recognizing physicians who have gone above and beyond in their care.

Now in its fourth year, PAMED's Doctors' Day recognition continues that tradition that began in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic of honoring physicians across Pennsylvania for their unwavering commitment to patient care. What started as a moment of gratitude has grown into an annual statewide celebration of the dedication, compassion, and resilience shown by physicians every day.

"Doctors' Day is our opportunity to honor the incredible physicians who dedicate their lives to healing others, and Pennsylvania's physicians are truly worthy of our deepest gratitude,” said Martin Raniowski, CEO and Executive Vice President of PAMED.
