PAMED & Component Dues

*Practices interested in group rates should contact PAMED to see if the components offer discounted rates.

The Pennsylvania Medical Society is unified with county/component medical societies. Members belong to both the state medical society and a component medical society, which has their own dues structure.

NOTE: Physicians may join the county in which they live, work, or have medical staff privileges.

County medical societies offer physicians a local organization to deal with local and regional health care issues. County societies also form a grassroots network that helps the Pennsylvania Medical Society advocate on a statewide level.
