Department of Human Services Inpatient Hospitals Qualifying for Medical Assistance Disproportionate Share Payments

In 1988, the Department of Human Services (Department) implemented a disproportionate share hospital (DSH) payment system. The Department is required to annually publish the names of each inpatient acute care general hospital, rehabilitation hospital and private psychiatric hospital qualifying for a DSH payment and their respective DSH payment percentage. This notice is intended to inform you that the information has been published and is available in the bulletin linked below.

Public Comment

Interested persons are invited to submit written comments regarding the payment percentages, payment adjustments or payments identified in this notice to the Department of Human Services, Office of Medical Assistance Programs, c/o Regulations Coordinator, P.O. Box 2675, Harrisburg, PA 17120, RA-PWMAProgComments@pa.gov. Comments received within 30 days will be reviewed and considered for any subsequent revision of the notice.
