Preparedness for the 2026-2027 Respiratory Season

As we enter the 2026-2027 respiratory virus season, the Department of Health (DOH) encourages health care providers, Long-Term Care Facilities (LTCFs), school health staff, laboratories, and providers caring for pregnant individuals or those planning to become pregnant, to take proactive measures. These actions can help reduce severe illness, hospitalizations, and deaths from influenza, RSV, COVID-19, and other respiratory pathogens.  Read more.
