Stacey Ishman, MD, MPH is a pediatric otolaryngologist, sleep medicine physician, and founder of Academic Medicine Strategy Group. She works with academic institutions and their leaders on a straightforward premise: academic physicians train the next generation, lead discovery, and steward our most complex cases. When they leave, medicine loses. She coaches faculty and department leaders on clarity, time, and sustainable practice at the individual, departmental, and institutional level. She maintains a clinical practice, partners with academic medical centers through speaking, faculty development, and coaching, and hosts a podcast and blog centered on physician leadership and career clarity. She has authored 230+ papers and received the AAO-HNS Distinguished Service Award three times. She lives in Cincinnati with her wife and five sons.
