Of his inauguration, Dr. Cavale said, “I am grateful
and humbled to serve as the 176th President of PAMED. First, I would
like to thank my predecessors for laying a great foundation over the
past several years. I approach my role with a sense of humility,
gratitude and optimism, knowing that our profession would not exist
without our patients.”
Dr. Cavale will lead with the PAMED sentiment advancing patient care by strengthening physician autonomy, which focuses on patient beneficence and the best outcomes for their health care. He said, “Physicians who are able to practice autonomously are the best advocates for their patients.”
