The Statewide HIV Planning Group, established by the Department of Health (Department) will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 625 Forster Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120.
Participants can also access the meeting virtually. To join the Microsoft Teams meeting, individuals will need to connect by phone; this can be done by following instructions in the bulletin link below.
The purpose of this meeting is to conduct an integrated prevention and care HIV planning process by which the Department works in partnership with the community and stakeholders to enhance access to HIV prevention, care and treatment services.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the status of the funding for the block grant. Information on calling into the meeting can be found in the bulletin links for each respective meeting notice.

Preventative Health and Health Services Block Grant Application for Federal Fiscal Year 2026; Public Hearing
The Department of Health (Department) is making available copies of the proposed Preventative Health and Health Services Block Grant Application for Federal Fiscal Year 2026. This block grant application shall serve as the Commonwealth's request to the United States Department of Health and Human Services for block grant funding to address the Healthy People 2030 Health Status Objectives.
The block grant application, describing proposed services, program goals, and objectives and activities, is available for public comment. Copies (electronic or hard copy) of the proposed block grant application will be available on or after June 30, 2026, and can be obtained by calling the Bureau of Health Promotion and Risk Reduction (Bureau) at (717) 547-3204.
A public hearing will be conducted by the Department on June 10, 2026, from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. by means of a teleconference for the purpose of receiving testimony on the previously mentioned block grant application. Persons wishing to testify are requested to preregister by contacting the Bureau at (717) 547-3204. Registration will be accepted on the day of the hearing. Persons will be allotted a maximum of 5 minutes to testify. Testifiers must submit two written copies of their testimony to the Department at the time of the hearing. Written comments will be accepted and must be sent to Christopher Noble, Block Grant Coordinator, chnoble@pa.gov and should be received no later than 4 p.m., June 3, 2026.
