2023 Medical Student and Resident Debates


The Medical Student Section debates offer an opportunity to engage in the most important topics shaping the practice of medicine today. 

Physician Members Can Earn Up To 2 CME Credits While Watching PAMED Medical Student Teams Debate Hot Topics in Medicine!

Those in attendance will have the opportunity to ask questions, evaluate the students involved in the debate, and earn CME while helping our future physicians gain new knowledge and enhance their communication skills.

If you are a medical student or resident member registering to join a debate team, you will receive an email from PAMED MSS staff confirming your participation on a debate team.

CME credit is available for the Oct. 27 debate.

The Pennsylvania Medical Society (PAMED) is accredited by the Accreditation Council on Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. PAMED designates this live activity for a maximum of 2 AMA PRA Category 1 credits™. Physicians should claim credit commensurate with their participation in the activity.
