Bylaws Submission Deadline

If you have any questions about the process for submitting a proposed amendment, or wish to propose a change to the Bylaws, please contact HOD@pamedsoc.org and ask for assistance to assure that the intent of your change is properly recorded for full consideration by the 2025 House of Delegates (the House). Your Speakers request amendments be submitted 4:00 p.m. EDT.

Delegate/Elections/Resolutions Close

• Make sure you have connected with your state county medical society or special sections on delegate representation.
• Get all your final resolutions/bylaws changes submitted. 
• Make sure you have finalized your information in the Election Portal to be included in the Official Call.

   

   

Official Call Posted

The Official Call is posted for your review. Per the PAMED Bylaws, the Official Call must be posted 60 days for the House.

Registration Opens

Begin making your attendance plans for HOD. Sign up to attend all House activities starting today starting today.

Meeting Pulse Platform Training

Whether in-person or remote, get comfortable with Meeting Pulse, our hybrid meeting platform.

• For new delegates, learn the House meeting platform and how to interact with House business.
• For returning delegates, brush up on your Meeting Pulse skills. (Emails will be sent directly to members, and can be accessed below.)

Training opens July 25 and must be completed (module, quiz, scheduling microphone test) by all delegates and alternates by Friday, August 22. 

Official Reports Book Published

• Check the Resolutions page to read the recommended business and submit written reference committee testimony.
• Check the ORB page for posted House reports.
• Check the Elections page for information on candidates running for an open position.

In order to adequately prepare for your House participation, please register and make your arrangements to attend the House by this registration close date. 

Can you hear me now? - Test My Mic

As part of your Meeting Pulse platform training, you must sign up for a time to test your microphone. Scheduling your appointment will occur in the training module and must be scheduled by Friday, August 22. 

Virtual Business Session

The House of Delegates kicks off with this virtual business session. All delegation members are expected to attend, and business will include approving the rules, house business, etc. Candidates also wishing to run from the floor will declare their candidacy at this session. After this session, the floor closes for nominations.

Delegates will locate your login information in your email. All other participants check back to watch the livestream.

Oral Reference Committee Testimony

Be Heard! All PAMED members are encouraged to join oral testimony to provide their expertise on the business of the House. Your testimony will contribute to the Reference Committee reports. 

Written Reference Committee Testimony Closes

Be Heard! All PAMED members are encouraged to submit written testimony to provide their expertise on the business of the House. Your testimony will contribute to the Reference Committee reports. Submit your written testimony by the end of oral reference committee testimony.

Candidate Submission Portal Closes for Candidates Running from the Floor & Late Endorsement Letters Due

Candidates running from the floor must submit their candidate information to be listed on the ballot. Anyone wishing to submit a late endorsement letter for candidates must submit them in PDF format to HOD@pamedsoc.org by September 16 at 4:00 p.m.

Reference Committee Reports Posted

Reference Committee reports and updated candidate information posted today.

• Check the Resolutions page for the reports to begin caucusing with your Delegations.
• Check the Elections page for updated candidate information.
• Make arrangements to caucus with your state county medical society/component, specialty, or special section.

Attend multiple CME opportunities, talk with PAMED leadership, and attend the Meet Your Candidates and Trustees Social.

PAMED House of Delegates - Saturday

Attend the community breakfast (in-person) and participate in House business (in-person or remote). For those staying overnight Saturday, join in celebrating PAMED presidents, award winners, and colleagues. 

PAMED House of Delegates - Sunday

For those staying at Hershey on Saturday, join the Speakers for a light breakfast on Sunday followed by a CME.
