  • In speaking with the Pa. Department of Health (DOH), the amount and timing of the vaccine is somewhat out of their hands. We understand from the DOH that they are very eager to work with physician offices, but until the supply and timing becomes clearer, DOH says this is the best way to get the most vaccines to the greatest number of people at this time. During today’s DOH briefing, Acting Secretary of Health Alison Beam reiterated her eagerness to allow the 2,800 providers who've signed up to provide the vaccine to administer it.
