PAMED Submits Amicus Brief in Res ispa loquitor Jury Instruction Case
PAMED, in conjunction with the AMA, filed a friend of the court brief with the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in the case of Lageman v. Zepp. In this case, the plaintiff filed a complaint for medical negligence after she suffered a stroke while undergoing a medical procedure.

New HRSA Program Allows Providers to Be Reimbursed for Underinsured Patients
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) has a program in place for providers to apply to be reimbursed for COVID-19-related testing, treatment, and vaccine administration fees for uninsured patients. It is now administering a similar program for provider reimbursement of vaccine administration fees for underinsured patients.
