PAMED Public Health Alert: CDC Shortens COVID-19 Isolation Recommendation

On Friday, March 1, the CDC announced updated COVID-19 recommendations. One of those changes is combining the COVID-19 recommendations with those for other respiratory viruses. The Respiratory Virus Guidance brings a unified approach to addressing risks from a range of common respiratory viral illnesses, such as COVID-19, flu, and RSV, which can cause significant health impacts and strain on hospitals and health care workers.
