Delegate Certification Timeline
Below is the timeline provided by the Speakers of the House of Delegates for certifying Delegates/Alternates.
As written in the bylaws:
"The component medical societies, the specialty societies, and the special sections shall certify to the executive vice president of this Society the names of their respective delegates and alternates not later than 60 days prior to the commencement of a meeting of the House of Delegates."
📅 Tuesday, March 5
County leadership can start certifying delegates by entering delegation members through the Delegate Certification Portal.
📅 Tuesday, June 6
Your Speakers have requested that delegation members be entered into the Delegate Certification Portal by June 6.
📅 Thursday, July 18
The Delegate Certification Portal closes.
📅 Saturday, September 21
The PAMED House of Delegates is now officially opened. This business session will be held virtually and “kicks off” our HOD 2024. This event is a business session of the House, and quorum is required. All Delegations should plan to attend. The Speakers encourage Delegate swapping as needed using shared logins for business sessions. Delegates may choose to swap with their alternate by sharing their login information directly with their substitute.
📅 Friday, October 25 & Saturday, October 26
The PAMED House of Delegates will continue as a hybrid. The business session on Saturday will be held in Hershey, PA and utilizing the Meeting Pulse platform. This event is a business session of the House, and quorum is required. All Delegations should plan to attend. The Speakers encourage Delegate swapping as needed using shared logins for business sessions. Delegates may choose to swap with their alternate by sharing their login information directly with their substitute.
