Who Can Vote in Leadership Position Elections?
If any elections are contested, delegates and ex officios with the right to vote will vote for elected leadership positions on their phone, tablet, or laptop through PAMED’s e-voting system.

How to Vote
Voting will take place on Saturday, Oct. 26. Those eligible to vote will receive an email or text from Election Buddy. You should follow the link in your email or text.

2024 PAMED Candidate Information

To run for a vacant position at the 2024 House of Delegates, please submit your name and biographical sketch information by June 6, 2024 by 4:00 p.m. EST. for the Official Call and PAMED Election Manual.

Candidates who wish to run from the floor may announce their candidacy at the Welcoming Business Session (virtual) on September 21, 2024. 

You will need:

  • Candidate Information
    • What position you are running for
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Title (Credentials as you wish to have published in the Elections Manual)
    • Email
    • Phone
    • Permission to have your contact information shared with members. *Optional
    • City/Town
    • Sponsored by
    • Endorsement Letter *required for Specialty Trustee, suggested for other positions

If you are a component/specialty/section wishing to submit a voluntary endorsement letter for a candidate, please email the letter as a PDF to HOD@pamedsoc.org by Thursday, June 6, 2024 @ 4:00 p.m. EST. Late endorsement letters may be submitted as a PDF to HOD@pamedsoc.org by Tuesday, September 24, 2024 @ 4:00 p.m. EST.

    • Current and former positions held within Pennsylvania Medical Society

    • Current membership within PAMPAC or other related Medical PACS
    • Foundation donation history (Yes/No, not details)

    • Candidate Statement “Why should you be elected to the position?”

  • Conflict of Interest Information: details of any relationships, interests, or situations that may be viewed as a conflict while serving as an elected member must be disclosed and will be reviewed by PAMED’s General Counsel
