Who Can Vote in Leadership Position Elections?
If any elections are contested, delegates and ex-officios with the right to vote will vote for elected leadership positions on their phone, tablet, or laptop through PAMED’s e-voting system.

Voting will take place on Saturday, October 24, 2026. Those eligible to vote will receive an email or text from Election Buddy. You should follow the link in your email or text.

Candidates who wish to be included in the Official Call must submit their complete candidate information by July 1, 2026 @ 4:00 p.m. EDT.

You will need:

    • Title (Credentials as you wish to have published in the elections manual)
    • Email
    • Phone
    • Permission to have your contact information shared with members *Optional
    • City/Town
    • Sponsored by
    • Endorsement letter *required for Specialty Trustee, suggested for other positions
  • Biographical Information (if applicable)
    • Membership tenure with PAMED
    • Medical school name and year graduated
    • Board certification information
    • Specialty area
    • Current and former positions held within component medical society
    • Current and former positions held within Pennsylvania Medical Society
    • Current and former positions held within American Medical Association
    • Current and former positions held within specialty societies or other related groups and activities
    • CV to upload (.doc, .dox, or .pdf acceptable)
    • Current membership within PAMPAC or other related Medical PACS
    • Foundation donation history (Yes/No, not details)
    • Professional headshot (.jpeg or .png acceptable)
    • Candidate statement “Why should you be elected to the position?”
    • Candidate video *Optional

  • Conflict of Interest Information: details of any relationships, interests, or situations that may be viewed as a conflict while serving as an elected member must be disclosed and will be reviewed by PAMED’s General Counsel.


If you are a component/specialty/section wishing to submit a voluntary endorsement letter for a candidate, late endorsement letters may be submitted as a PDF to HOD@pamedsoc.org by September 12, 2026 @ 4:00 p.m. EDT.
