In light of the ongoing impact of COVID-19, the Pennsylvania Medical Society’s Board of Trustees made the difficult decision to cancel the face-to-face meeting of the 2020 House of Delegates in Hershey. Plans for an alternative remote meeting format are underway for the same weekend of October 24-25, 2020.  This site remains the most comprehensive resource for details about those plans and other important information about this year’s HOD.

Submitting a Proposed Amendment to the Bylaws

The following information is intended to guide you through the process of preparing and submitting a proposed amendment to the Bylaws of the Pennsylvania Medical Society (“PAMED”).

Please be sure to read the Bylaws before you submit a proposed amendment in order to avoid duplicating existing policy.

Proposed amendments must be submitted to Ellen Yasinski, Associate Director of House Operations & Governance, via email ( on or before June 3, 2019.
