Who Can Vote in Leadership Position Elections?
If any elections are contested, delegates and ex-officios with the right to vote will vote for elected leadership positions on their phone, tablet, or laptop through PAMED’s e-voting system.

To run for a vacant position at the 2026 House of Delegates, you will need to announce your candidacy and "running from the floor" at the September 19 Virtual Opening Business Session. Floor nominations must be made by a delegate and a delegate may self-nominate.
You will need:If you are a component/specialty/section wishing to submit a voluntary endorsement letter for a candidate, late endorsement letters may be submitted as a PDF to HOD@pamedsoc.org by September 22, 2026 @ 4:00 p.m. EDT.

Candidates who wish to run from the floor must be announced by the Virtual House Opening Session.
Candidates who wish to run from the floor may announce their candidacy at the House Opening Session (virtual) on September 19, 2026.
Candidates running from the floor must submit their information by 4:00 P.M. EST

Candidates who wish to submit a campaign piece to be distributed by the HOD office to the House must submit by 4:00 P.M. EST (details in Elections Guidelines).

All House members will receive voluntary submissions from any candidates who submitted campaign materials today.
