Happy New Year!

Greetings, and a very Happy New Year! Your Speakers are already diving into 2026 planning. We intend to continue the progress made from 2025 and look forward to continuing to improve our PAMED.

2025 Annual Meeting Wrap Up

Thank you to all the Delegates, Alternates, county/specialty representatives and PAMED staff for a very successful Annual Meeting this past Fall. Your thoughtful preparation contributed to ensuring that our PAMED 2025 meeting was perhaps the best ever! Here are a few 2025 meeting highlights:

  • Networking and social events enjoyed by all!

You can visit the HOD website to view the final dispositions of each of the Resolutions/Reports. Those items that were referred to the Board of Trustees feature a link, permitting additional feedback as the board deliberates and prepares reports.

PS – it is NEVER too early to start thinking about elections!

Committees

Our HOD would NOT be successful without the numerous volunteers on the Reference, Bylaws, and Rules & Credentials Committees. If you have an interest in serving, we are always on the lookout for capable, energized individuals.

BBC Interactive Survey

Many of you may have recently received an invitation from BBC Interactive regarding the 2026 Annual Meeting. This survey has been sent out to physicians across Pennsylvania (including PAMED members and non-members), to ensure adequate feedback and insight to aid in our planning. The BBC survey is distinct and an addition to our typical HOD survey (sent to each of you in the Fall).

Survey results will be presented to the PAMED Board of Trustees, who will review the results and continue to make recommendations on how to engage more Pennsylvania physicians for in person education, conversation, and networking.

As always, thank you for all you do to make our PAMED the best state society. We look forward to another great year of camaraderie, friendship and making a difference!

Be well.
