In August 2019, Highmark launched a new feature in NaviNet that allows users to attach supporting documentation at the same time they are submitting authorization requests. The feature can also be used for responding to inquiries and requests for additional information.
Highmark expects that the document attachment option will eliminate the need to fax supporting documents separately or to wait for assistance by phone.
