PAMED Everyday Hero Award
The Pennsylvania Medical Society’s (PAMED) Everyday Hero Award program, launched in 2018, honors member physicians who go above and beyond in providing patient care.
In response to the COVID-19 emergency, we are also calling for nominations for “COVID-19 Front Line Heroes.” We are seeing the physicians of PAMED step up to care for their patients through uncharted, daunting territory – although they tell us “I’m just doing my job” – and we want to honor them on a regular basis. Let’s honor their dedication as they continue to provide exemplary care throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
Please nominate a physician you feel exemplifies an Everyday Hero or a COVID-19 Front Line Hero by completing the brief form.

What are the award rules?
In general, the PAMED Everyday Hero Award is open to any PAMED member who through the eyes of colleagues and patients goes above and beyond in providing patient care.

Timing
PAMED accepts nominations for this award throughout the year. Click here to fill out our nomination form
Recipients of our monthly Everyday Hero Award will be notified a month prior to being publicly named a recipient, Each will be received a plaque to be presented locally.
Nominees for the COVID-19 Front Line Hero component of the award will be honored on a regular basis via social media throughout the COVID-19 emergency.
