2019 Recommended Childhood and Adolescent Immunization Schedule for Pa.’s Medicaid Program

vaccine-childPennsylvania’s Department of Human Services has issued a bulletin that shares the 2019 Recommended Childhood and Adolescent Immunization Schedule.

The bulletin applies to providers who are enrolled in the state’s Medicaid Program – known as Medical Assistance (MA) – and administer immunizations and provide services in the fee-for-service and managed care delivery systems.

The immunization schedule includes the following tables:

  • Recommended Child and Adolescent Immunization Schedule for ages 18 years or younger – United States, 2019
  • Catch-up immunization schedule for persons aged 4 months – 18 years who start late or who are more than 1 month behind – United States, 2019
  • Recommended Child and Adolescent Immunization Schedule by Medical Indication

The schedule was approved by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
