‘Tis the season. Well, maybe not quite THAT season, but it is the season for PAMED to ramp up its call to members for the multitude of initiatives going on this time of year. Right now, PAMED is amid membership renewal, legislation activities, and not to mention the House of Delegates. You might not think that these annual and ongoing activities have a lot to do with you, but it does. There are many ways that you can be involved and be heard at PAMED including.  I need to remind you of some:

Renew Your Membership – CME and licensure resources, health care operations, legal resources, and advocacy are just a few of the member benefits you receive now through December 2023!  The needed CME’s for such topics as pain management, dispensing opioids, child abuse recognition, and patient safety/risk management are all right there.

House of Delegates Resolutions – You do not have to be a delegate to submit written testimony for HOD resolutions. Any member can comment on resolutions for the 2022 House of Delegates – we want to hear what you’re passionate about! Submit your feedback to be heard on the 2022 resolutions by Sept. 13.  So, so important…

Be Heard: Advocacy Platform – Interested in knowing up-to-date information on important legislation as it happens? Join our member community for behind-the-scenes insights from your PAMED legislative affairs team.  Without question, this grows only more and more important.  I know you know this, but it so needs to be emphasized.

Be Heard: Practice Administrators – This unique platform is a forum where our administrator members can network and stay connected with peers and PAMED’s expert Health Care Operations team on crucial topics needed to run your practice.

During this busy time, PAMED wants to be a resource for you but please realize, you are our most valued resource. Find something in PAMED that gets you excited about being involved. At the end of the day, your involvement is what keeps PAMED and good health care delivery in Pennsylvania going.
