What’s In a Resolution?

Last Updated: Sep 9, 2021

Thirty-two resolutions submitted by PAMED members have been loaded to our House of Delegates website. Resolutions are the vehicle by which PAMED members may introduce important issues they would like the delegates of the annual meeting (or House of Delegates) to address and create or update policy on. Resolutions are written proposals that suggest a change or addition to PAMED policy. You can find them by clicking on the “Resolutions” box. There you’ll see what your fellow physicians and medical students are saying about topics like single-payer health care, Medicaid reform, and cultural competency and submit written testimony on issues important to you.

You may also access a new entry in the Speaker’s Podium. This is where the Speaker of the House, Dr. John Pagan, and Vice Speaker of the House, Dr. Todd Hertzberg share information and upcoming events.
