CRNP Prescriptive Authority Applications Moving to PALS Submittal

Last Updated: Aug 16, 2021

Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) Prescriptive Authority Collaborative Agreement (PACA) Applications will soon be transitioning to an online only submittal process through the Pennsylvania Licensing System (PALS). PACA Change Forms will also be submitted through PALS.

The Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs (BPOA) currently plans to remove the paper PACA Application and Change Forms from the State Board of Nursing’s website and accept only online submittals after Sept. 30, 2021. The paper form for PACA Terminations will remain on the Nursing Board’s website and continue to be accepted through mail submittal.

Instructions regarding how to submit PACA Applications through PALS will be uploaded to the Nursing Board’s website in the coming weeks.

The Pennsylvania Medical Society (PAMED) will continue to monitor the transition of PACA Applications to an online submittal process and update members accordingly of any additional developments.
