Greetings PAMED members,
HOD Season is upon us! Thank you, for submitting your thoughtful resolutions and organizing your delegation roster so promptly. Our PAMED is well-positioned for a productive House of Delegates meeting – one that promises to be engaging, dynamic and full of exceptional camaraderie.
On
Thursday, July 18, the Official Call will be posted, which includes:
- Announcement of candidates to date
- Resolutions and available reports
- 2024 HOD Rules
Written Reference Committee Testimony will also open on July 18. We encourage you to review the resolutions and reports and share your expertise. All PAMED members (not just HOD members) are invited to participate in written and oral testimony.
Starting
Friday, July 19, you will receive information on
HOD Registration and Meeting Pulse training. Meeting Pulse training will be a self-paced module with an opportunity to test your microphone in small groups, shortly ahead of the September 21 Opening Session. Participation in training will ensure smooth and efficient business sessions.
Saturday, September 21 is the
Virtual Opening Session of House of Delegates. The business session will include an opportunity for candidate nominations to “run from the floor”.
Reference Committee Oral Testimony will follow. Again, all PAMED members are invited to participate in the Reference Committee testimony process.
October 25-27 is our
Hybrid Hershey Annual Meeting and Business Session. It is not too early to begin making plans for this weekend. Your Speakers have arranged a
Saturday Night of Surprises to celebrate our HOD and enjoy time with one another. You do NOT want to miss this!
As always, thank you for your continued commitment to our PAMED. We look forward to reading your testimony and your engagement in House business.
