The Pennsylvania Department of Health and the Global Tuberculosis Institute at Rutgers are co-sponsoring a full-day training event on June 19 titled “Identify, Test, and Treat: Making Strides Toward TB Elimination.”
The event will be held at the Penn Grant Conference Center at the Pennsylvania Medical Society in Harrisburg. CME and CNE credits will be offered.
The conference is open to physicians, nurses, and public health professionals who see patients at risk for – or diagnosed with – TB infection or TB disease.
Topics to be addressed include current diagnostic and treatment modalities for TB infection and TB disease, appropriate tests to aid in the diagnosis and management of TB disease, and special considerations for pediatric patients. The course fee is $40.
