Presidential Caterers of Distinction, 2910 DeKalb Pike,
The state is holding six half-day regional summits to address the warm hand-off process for opioid overdose survivors. The warm hand-off – also known as referral to treatment – is used to help in the identification and treatment of individuals addicted to opioids.
The regional summits will bring together stakeholders from the public and private sector across a range of disciplines to collaborate on ways to ensure the seamless transfer of opioid overdose survivors from emergency care to the treatment provider. The agenda includes success stories from those on the front lines of the battle against this epidemic, opportunities for peer-to-peer learning, and much more. One or more cabinet officials are expected to attend each event.
