Last Updated: Dec 30, 2019

Female-physician-laptopThe Pennsylvania Department of State (DOS) is developing new license processing guides to help applicants know what to expect when applying for a professional license. Guides for both osteopathic physicians (DOs) and allopathic physicians (MDs) are now available.

The guides break down the licensing process into three phases, give the average timeline for each phase, provide tips to avoid processing delays, and explain how to best use the Pennsylvania Licensing System (PALS).
