With the enactment of a state budget in June, many health-related bills saw movement prior to the General Assembly recessing for the summer. If you missed our previous Bills on the Hill overview of six health care bills that were signed into law before the legislature’s recess, you can check it out here.
When the General Assembly returns in September, the Pennsylvania Medical Society (PAMED) will continue to monitor many bills that have the potential to impact health care in the state.
In this Bills on the Hill, we look at more than a dozen health care bills that passed one chamber of the legislature prior to summer recess. We also share PAMED’s position on each bill.
