(Harrisburg, PA) Montgomery County Medical Society (MCMS), in conjunction with The Foundation of the Pennsylvania Medical Society, is offering a $1,000 scholarship to medical students who are residents of Montgomery County. This $1,000 award is available to first-year medical students enrolled full time in an accredited United States medical school.
The award is possible thanks to contributions from MCMS and area physicians. The MCMS mission is to represent and serve all physicians of Montgomery County and their patients in order to preserve the doctor-patient relationship, maintain safe and quality care, advance the practice of medicine, and enhance the role of medicine and health care within the community and across Montgomery County and Pennsylvania.
The Foundation of the Pennsylvania Medical Society, a nonprofit affiliate of the Pennsylvania Medical Society, sustains the future of medicine in Pennsylvania by providing programs that support medical education, physician health, and excellence in practice.
