We always encourage patients to discuss a matter like this directly with the physician. If he won’t call the script to the pharmacy of your choice, then perhaps you could ask for a written, paper version of the script that you can take to your preferred pharmacy.

Don't know if you answer comments, however if you do, my email is mfk418@yahoo.com I want to know if a Dr. can force you to use a certain pharmacy. My local one will fill my meds, however the Dr. I went to has me go to the one he picked. I have to go very far to pick up meds. Thank you
