Objectives

Physicians participating in this activity should be able to: 

  • Identify patients with substance abuse disorders.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of buprenorphine pharmacotherapy.
  • Summarize steps required to have the ability to prescribe buprenorphine, establish a practice, and receive reimbursement.
  • Summarize benefits of establishing buprenorphine prescribing in a primary care practice.
