A Message from the Pennsylvania Medical Society President

We asked you to take action – to visit your legislators in their local offices on June 5 and 6.  The response from our members has been gratifying. 

The legislators report that your stories and comments were compelling and genuine. You engaged their interest and helped them understand the extreme importance of this issue. 

This is grassroots political action at its best. 

I want to personally thank each physician who took time from his or her busy practice and personal life to pay a visit, email, call, or write a legislator. 

But let’s not let this cool down. From now until the end of the budget discussions this summer, keep up the contact. Let your legislators know how much you care about your patients.
