Pennsylvania Standard Application

The development of the Pennsylvania Standard Application was prompted by the Society’s desire to find ways to decrease the ever-increasing burden of paperwork for physicians and their office staff.

The Pennsylvania Standard Application is a stand-alone document, which is currently accepted by more than thirty insurance companies, as well as numerous hospitals and health systems both within and outside of Pennsylvania.

The Society encourages members to check with insurers, provider networks, etc., before they complete anyone else’s application to determine if the PSA is accepted.

As a health plan that accepts the PA Standard application we would like to see updates made to this application. Since this application has not had any updates since 2006 is there a plan to make revisions
